The Talman Group Thanks Justin Tombe After Transition Announcement

The Talman Group, Europe’s largest and industry-leading cannabis investment network, would like to thank Justin Tombe for his invaluable contributions to Talman in recent years. Mr. Tombe is stepping away from his role as Chief Development Officer, effective January 1st, 2026, and will be transitioning to other pursuits outside of the Talman Group.
Justin Tombe is an original member of the Talman Group team, contributing a broad range of experience developed over several decades in the emerging legal cannabis industry. He filled a variety of roles for Talman during his tenure, initially serving as Chief Operating Officer, and has made meaningful contributions to the Group’s growth and success since its founding in 2023.
Mr. Tombe is a renowned pioneer in the legal cannabis space, with a passion for research and development. He partnered with the Talman Group on early efforts to advance our research programs, as well as promote best practices and professional standards in the European cannabis industry. Data-based policy, true sustainability, and respect for the environment are keystone principles incorporated in the Talman Group’s effort to elevate industry standards in European markets.
Tombe’s departure from Talman will allow him to focus on his passion for innovation and the advancement of applied knowledge in the fields of cannabis and sustainable energy development. He is a founder of several cannabis genetics companies, distributing seeds and tissue culture plantlets on multiple continents. His genetics company portfolio includes:
- Phytonyx (USA)
- Genscorp (EU)
- Watusi (Colombia)
Justin is excited to continue his work in helping develop superior cannabis varieties for Europe and the broader global market. Beyond the cannabis industry, Justin will refocus on developing sustainable energy solutions in the hydrogen economy with ThrivalTech, the company he co-founded in 2011.
Even from afar, Mr. Tombe will continue to be an advocate and resource for The Talman Group and our wider network. We are excited about the future of the Talman House and wish Justin the best with his ongoing endeavors.
